Reached out via Facebook messenger about a 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500 LTZ posted on Marketplace. I was directed to Marcus, a salesman, over text. We talked and I agreed to leave a *refundable* deposit of $1,500 for the vehicle to be held for 7 days so I can make the several hour trip to the dealership. 7 days later, something happened and I was no longer in the market for a truck. I called and requested my deposit back, and was told to call again the next day as the owner, Ruben, was not at a computer. I called the next day and he blocked my number. I called with another number and he answered and told me he doesn't need to give it back because the paperwork said he didnt. Even though it was agreed over text and phone call that the deposit was to be refundable. He the said that he's already dealing with the Better Business Bureau and he doesn't want more trouble so he'll "just give it back". He then blocked that number and has been unreachable. Watch, theyre gonna respond with something about the paperwork. Even though it was agreed to be refundable, regardless of timeframe, by both parties. They even tried marking the "non-refundable" box on the paperwork and then told me "just sign it" and write in the margins that its refundable. This guy is a scam I financed a 07 gmc from them for 15000. I gave him 3500 cash plus I traded my 99 ford f250 that he only gave me a 1000 for. He has it for sale for 5200. The truck i got from him was worth maybe 5 grand because of the condition. the first day I had it It went it to limp mode. I had to put over 400 dollars. In the first few days just to get the truck running halfway decent. I then brought it up to a shop and they told me that there is over 8 thousand dollars with of engine damage and the so called warranty that comes with the trucks denied the repairs since it was before I bought it. This dude also likes to keep things from you about there trucks like branded titles and he likes to roll back the miles on the trucks. I had to go into 30000 thousand dollars into dept because of him. I had to get a new truck from a Chevy dealership. It's funny how this place still has It's doors open. Everyone needs to stay far away from.this place. There a total scam artist stay far far away from this company
